This year I am trusting my intuition, and allowing a much greater range of emotions to emerge in my painting.

My work from this year is emotionally loaded, and all over the place in its subject matter and approach.

The movement of the marks, as well as the sense of depth and transparency, echoed the spiritual elements that were so essential to the black and white pieces from the year before.

This work was a spiritual journey. There is something very pure about black and white.
